Your First Visit to Our Acadiana Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

Your first visit will include a thorough, sit down conversation of your problems. We focus on listening to the patient and all issues you are experiencing---we look at the whole person. The exam will include orthopedic, neurological, and nutritional aspects. Not all patients receive x-rays, but if needed, x-rays will be taken in the office for clarification and diagnosis. I will then talk to you about your options. If I feel that you would benefit from treatment, you will be accepted as a patient. If we don't feel that our various treatments would be a right fit, we will refer you to someone who is. I will not waste your time, energy, and money if I don't think I can help you or your loved one.

The first visit will last approximately 1-2 hours depending on the amount of history to review and if you can fill your paperwork out before by downloading the forms or picking them up at the office. The history is quite detailed and important in your first visit. It is easier to fill out the forms when you are not stressed and hurried. It will also allow you time to remember answers from the past regarding accidents and other important details

How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. And chiropractic care can help.
