Regular Visits

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

After the first two visits, your visit will still vary somewhat, but most likely will consist of an adjustment to gently correct a vertebrae out of alignment (some say similar to 'popping' your knuckles) or neurological treatment including music therapy, light therapy, computer therapy and others. Then, most patients with muscular strain/sprains or spasms will be put on pain relieving therapies such as, but not limited to, interferential muscle stimulation, ultrasound, cervical or lumbar traction, and others. If you are here to strengthen and re-educate weak and problematic areas such as the stomach and low back or an overly tight and achy neck and back that causes headaches and migraines, then you would benefit from muscular reeduation--otherwise known as "rehab".

You can expect these visits to last about 30 minutes. We will evaluate you at certain visits to document improvement.

Can babies with colic be helped with chiropractic?
It's probably one of the times a parent feels the most helpless. But based on the research, chiropractic and colic relief appear to go hand in glove. With success rates in the mid-90% range, more and more Acadiana parents are seeing a chiropractor. If you have a baby with colic learn how chiropractic may help.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
