Introducing New Iberia Chiropractor Dr. Tony Oberle

Dr. Tony Oberle, New Iberia ChiropractorSports was and still is a large part of my life. While competing in power lifting in the armed forces, I had intense, chronic low back pain. I thought I had tried everything except surgery. A good friend from high school was a chiropractor and set up a practice in my hometown of Great Bend, Kansas. Not only did I get total pain relief but I became a much stronger competitor since I wasn't focused on all the pain I was putting up with. And the best part of being treated was that my immune system was boosted and my allergies went away. That doctor didn't even know that I had been suffering with hay fever my whole life. I enrolled in college the next semester. It was a life-changing decision and one that would provide a very fulfilling future.

I finished my undergraduate work at Barton County Community College which consisted of biology, microbiology, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry and physics. Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO was the next step. It was there that I met my wife Suzanne. Four years of intense training and application, I graduated in 2000 and worked with my wife in Overland Park, KS. Doors were opened in New Iberia a short time after that and made Louisiana our new home.

Our mission statement is to serve you and your health care needs by listening to your concerns and doing our best to find the cause of your or your loved ones problem. You should be able to leave our office with solid answers of:

  1. Did we find the cause of the problem?
  2. Can we treat your problem?
  3. How long will the treatment take?
  4. How much will treatment cost?

It is top priority that the patient feels nurtured with the most professional, friendly and courteous service.

My wife, Dr. Suzanne Oberle, met at Cleveland Chiropractic College and have been married for 12 years. We have one daughter, Shashanna (19 years old), and three boys: Drew(12 years old), Joseph (8 years old) and Zac (4 years old). Life is definitely serving others but I try to get away with my kids to go sailing on our sailboat on overnight trips. I also enjoy an exciting game of football or soccer from Drew and Joseph's teams.

Dr. Oberle Asks some important questions of interest to New Iberia residents - Chiropractor New Iberia Dr. Oberle Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
If you have a fever, are you sick or healthy?
Chiropractors love asking this question because it gets to the root of the chiropractic difference. Turns out fevers, vomiting, coughing and even sneezing are all healthy responses. It means your body is working correctly. Taking medications to suppress these natural processes can actually prolong your recovery.
